Jason Barnes DC, CCSP has been improving people’s lives through chiropractic care for over 13 years. His passion is to give his patients the best way to improve their health without prescription medications or surgery. He treats practice members of all ages, from newborn’s to grandparents. Dr. Barnes also is certified in chiropractic sports medicine in order to help those who receive an injury recover faster and to provide training options and support for them as well. “Here at Barnes Family Chiropractic we truly enjoy the diversity of patients we have the opportunity to treat.”
Dr. Barnes received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN (now Northwestern Health Sciences University). Prior to chiropractic school he studied at Western Wyoming Community College and received an AAS degree and a Radiologic Technology degree. He then continued his education at the University of Wyoming in order to receive his bachelor’s degree in Zoology prior to moving on to chiropractic school.
“As a chiropractic physician it is my job to not only provide you with the best possible options to achieve optimal health but also to attempt to educate you in ways to maintain this health. Following a detailed examination and discussion with you, it is my goal that you leave my office with a complete understanding of your diagnosis and the different treatment options that may be best for you. We here at Barnes Family Chiropractic believe that only the body can heal itself and that with you making the best decisions for your health is the only way to make that happen.” Doctor Barnes and his family try to follow this philosophy themselves as seen in their involvement with proper physical fitness, nutrition and regular chiropractic care and are committed to providing the same to the community through proper chiropractic care and education.
Dr. Barnes moved back to Burlington with his wife Amy in 2002 and they have practiced here, in her hometown, ever since. Besides his practice in Burlington, CO he also has a satellite clinic in Cheyenne Wells where he treats many patients from the southern communities as well. Dr. Barnes and Amy have enjoyed the small town living and have found it to be a great place to raise their 3 boys, Wyatt, Dillon and Riley. “It is a joy to have a successful practice in such a great area where we are able to participate in many of the community events as well as attend the events that our children are involved with.”
